Why has the Family Cout flourished for so long when it has been doing so much harm ?
Why have so many Family orientated lawyers, psychologists, police and social workers turned a blind eye to suspect policies and proceedures, without a whimper for so long ?
Why has such a system been allowed to flourish in such an academic surround without question for so long?
Why has The Family Court accepted False Allegations without question for so long ?
A scandal over pornographic e-mails has rocked the Family Court in Sydney and Adelaide, forcing one employee to quit and up to 10 others to accept disciplinary action.
External investigators were called in after a senior court manager found a group of staff viewing a pornographic image on an employee's computer. It is understood to have originated in the court's Sydney registry and have been sent to other staff in Sydney and Adelaide.
An audit of e-mail traffic was ordered and led to a full, external investigation. A court spokeswoman said "a small number" of staff were "sanctioned". Penalties included fines and demotion.
